Tulip Festival in Holland Michigan

Travel to Holland, Michigan for Tulip Time and experience millions of tulips, beautiful gardens, and Dutch traditions.

Most venues require our payments 60–90 days before the trip, so we often must make decisions well ahead of departure dates.

Day 1

WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 2026
We're heading to Michigan to enjoy the beautiful Tulip Festival! This afternoon, we'll visit the Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Arboretum, where you can relax and take in the stunning displays of plants and seasonal blooms. This evening, we'll enjoy dinner at Schuler's Restaurant, a beloved local favorite that has been welcoming guests since 1909. We will then check in for our two-night stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton.

Day 2

THURSDAY, MAY 7, 2026
Start your morning at Windmill Island Gardens, a beautiful 36-acre botanical park featuring more than 140,000 tulips and the only authentic working Dutch windmill in the United States. Continue on to the Tulip Immersion Garden at Beechwood Church, where over 60,000 tulips in raised beds create stunning color displays you can enjoy up close. Next, we'll visit Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park for a truly special experience. This year, they are hosting the world-renowned Chihuly Exhibit, showcasing dazzling glass sculptures that have captivated audiences around the globe. We'll end the evening with dinner at Boatwerks, downtown Holland's premier waterfront restaurant.

Day 3

FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2026
This morning begins with a visit to the Holland Museum, where exhibits highlight the rich history, culture, and Dutch heritage of the region. We'll then continue to Veldheer Tulip Farm, home to more than five million tulips bursting with brilliant color-truly a breathtaking sight. Take time to stroll through the gardens, admire the vibrant displays, and even select a few bulbs to take home as a keepsake from this unforgettable experience. We'll conclude the afternoon with a Dutch Lunch & Dance, where traditional flavors, music, and local charm provide the perfect finish to a memorable trip.

$75.00 per person due within two (2) weeks of booking.

Final Payment:

Balance due sixty (60) days prior to departure.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

More than sixty (60) days prior to departure:

Full refund.
From sixty (60) days to fourteen (14) days prior to departure:

$25.00 per person cancellation fee plus any non-refundable deposits paid by McCarter Coach & Tour.
Within fourteen (14) days of departure:

No refund.

Tour Protection

Optional tour protection is available for cancellations made up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure.

With tour protection:

A full refund, minus protection cost, if cancellation is received at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure time.
Cost:

$16.00 per day. Must be purchased no later than sixty (60) days prior to departure.
Note:

Full payment remains due sixty (60) days prior to departure. Failure to remit final payment will void tour protection.
