Pittsburgh Irish Festival

Created in 1991, the Pittsburgh Irish Festival has become one of the nation's finest Irish-American festivals. The festival has one of the most comprehensive exhibits of Irish music, lore, food and dance in the region. It stages a well-rounded presentation of different music and dance forms and a large part of cultural history of Ireland. You'll be able to smell the mouthwatering Celtic cuisine cooking as soon as you step off the bus! Savor the traditional Irish favorites including Irish stew, boxty pancakes, corned beef and cabbage, Shepherd's Pie, fish and chips and colcannon. And don't forget the best drinks Ireland had to offer like Guinness, Harp & Smithwick's, Dubliner Irish whiskey, Jameson, and Irish liquors. With 6 stages dedicated to performances, the live music scene is always one of the top highlights of this festival.

People often wonder why some trips get canceled. Trips can become canceled due to customers not signing up on the trips they want to travel on.  We encourage you to book up to 60 days before a trip date because most venues require our monies 60 sometimes 90 days ahead of time. If you wait to book your reservation up to the date of the trip, this is not enough time for McCarter's to know you want to reserve a seat for a certain trip.

 

 

 

Cancellation/Refund Policy:  Complete refunds will be made up to one month before the trip.  From one month up to the day of the trip the following schedule applies:

 

· One month prior to departure: A complete refund

 

· One month to two weeks prior to departure:   A refund, less monies we cannot recover (tickets, etc.)

 

· Less than two weeks prior to departure:    No Refund

Cancellation/Refund Policy:  Complete refunds will be made up to 48 hours prior to departure time with the tour protection purchased,

 

Tour Protection Cost:  $11.00 (Must be purchased 30 days prior to the trips departure.)

Final Payment:  Full payment due is required 30 days before departure date, or tour protection becomes invalid.
