The highlight of the day is the spectacular Sight & Sound Theatre production of JOSHUA, an inspiring biblical story that follows Joshua as he leads the Israelites after Moses’ death, trusting God to guide them through the wilderness and toward the Promised Land, including the miraculous victory at Jericho. After this powerful and faith-filled performance, relax with an overnight stay at the Comfort Inn Rockvale, offering a comfortable place to unwind and prepare for the next day’s adventures.
Day 2
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2026
Today's journey takes us on a deeply moving and reflective tour, beginning with a visit to the Flight 93 National Memorial in Stoystown, PA, where we will honor the heroes of Flight 93. Our first stop will be the Memorial Plaza, where we'll pay tribute at the Wall of Names of those who tragically lost their lives. The Visitor Center, dedicated on September 10, 2015, offers poignant exhibits that bring back memories while providing new insights into the events of that fateful day. The Tower of Voices, will be an unforgettable part of your visit, completing this powerful memorial experience. As a keepsake, each of us will receive a commemorative magnet to "Remember the Heroes of Flight 93." Our next stop we will enjoy a delicious included lunch at the Coal Miners' Café in Jennerstown, PA, before heading to the Quecreek Mine Rescue Site in Somerset, PA. On July 28, 2002, nine miners were miraculously rescued from 240 feet underground after being trapped for hours. We will hear the dramatic story of their rescue and the courage of the people who made it possible. This tour will leave you with a profound sense of respect and remembrance for the heroes of 9/11.
