International Fireworks In Michigan

Enjoy a spectacular getaway featuring an international fireworks competition, scenic national park, and beach time!

Most venues require our payments 60–90 days before the trip, so we often must make decisions well ahead of departure dates.

Day 1

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2026
Embark on a new adventure today to experience the International Fireworks show. This evening, enjoy a prime seat, complete with back support, to view this explosive display accompanied by music as it illuminates the night sky. Six countries will present their best show as they compete for the trophy. Our hotel this weekend sits across from the Traverse City State Park Beach which you can enjoy during your free time.

Day 2

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2026
Following breakfast, we will visit the Glen Haven Historical Village at Sleeping Bear Dunes. Good Morning America viewers voted this the most scenic spot in America. Several well-preserved buildings are open to the public including the Boat Museum, National Lakeshore Maritime Museum, the Blacksmith Shop, and Sleeping Bear Inn. Walk along the shores of Lake Michigan on the Sleeping Bear Point Trail to view the beauty of the dunes and water. This evening, we will be back to the Turtle Creek Stadium for another spectacular fireworks exhibit. You will have a $20 voucher to use at the stadium for dinner.

Day 3

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2026
This morning, we will visit Glen Arbor Cherry Republic, where you can learn everything about this delectable fruit at this cherry capital of the world. Buy some cherry jam, cherry wine, cherry ice cream - you get the idea! Try your hand (or mouth) and see who can spit a cherry seed the furthest distance. Late evening arrival home.

Balance due sixty (60) days prior to departure.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

More than sixty (60) days prior to departure:

Full refund.
From sixty (60) days to fourteen (14) days prior to departure:

$25.00 per person cancellation fee plus any non-refundable deposits paid by McCarter Coach & Tour.
Within fourteen (14) days of departure:

No refund.

Tour Protection

Optional tour protection is available for cancellations made up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure.

With tour protection:

A full refund, minus protection cost, if cancellation is received at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure time.
Cost:

$16.00 per day. Must be purchased no later than sixty (60) days prior to departure.
Note:

Full payment remains due sixty (60) days prior to departure. Failure to remit final payment will void tour protection.
