We'll begin our adventure by departing for the charming Occoquan Historic District in Virginia, where we will be welcomed by the mayor and enjoy some free time to explore the shops and unique local offerings. From there, we'll head to the historic estate of Mt. Vernon, where we'll enjoy lunch before touring George Washington's home and the nearby Gristmill. Day 2

After enjoying the included breakfast, we'll visit a hidden gem: The National Sporting Library & Museum. Founded in 1954, this world-class institution celebrates country pursuits such as horsemanship, foxhunting, angling, shooting, and wildlife through exhibitions, collections, and year-round programs. Afterward, we'll head into Washington, D.C., where you'll have time to enjoy lunch on your own and explore the incredible Smithsonian museums or iconic national monuments. Before returning to the hotel for the evening, we'll make a stop to tour the Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum, home to awe-inspiring aircraft and spacecraft displays.

Day 3

MONDAY, JUNE 1, 2026
Our final day begins with breakfast at the hotel before we pack up and head to Dodona Manor, where we'll be welcomed with coffee and donuts. Here, we'll explore the beautifully restored home and gardens of General George C. Marshall, a pivotal figure in 20th-century American history. Discover his original personal effects, learn about his world-changing contributions-including the Nobel Peace Prize-and take in the meticulously maintained grounds, offering a tangible connection to military history, diplomacy, and American heritage. Afterward, we'll have lunch on your own in downtown Leesburg before making our way to Bluemont Vineyard for a day of fun and creativity. At the vineyard, we'll dive into a sangria-making competition, learning the art of crafting the perfect recipe and tasting each team's creation to crown the winners. We'll finish the day with terrarium building, creating your own miniature, self-sustaining ecosystem to take home as a memento of the trip.
