Christmas At The Biltmore & Smoky Mountains

Day 1

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 14, 2026
A Southern Christmas is just what you need to get into the holiday spirit! From priceless ornaments and twinkling lights to beautiful candlelight, down-home traditions, and arts and crafts, this trip has everything to bring the festive season to life. We'll make a stop at Tamarack for lunch enroute to Asheville, NC, where we'll enjoy a one-night stay at the Double Tree by Hilton. Each passenger will receive a $25.00 voucher for lunch at Tamarack, giving you the perfect opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal before continuing on our journey.

Day 2

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 15, 2026
This morning, we will tour the Biltmore Estate, stepping into the grand holiday memories of the fabulously wealthy George Vanderbilt. Originally opened on Christmas Eve in 1895 with music and laughter, the estate continues this joyous tradition today with a larger-than-life Christmas celebration. Expect to be surrounded by holiday music, miles of evergreen garland, hundreds of poinsettias and wreaths, and elaborately decorated trees adorned with crystal ornaments, holly, ivy, toys, and American flags. Amidst all this grandeur, you'll also be in awe of the estate's beautiful architectural details. For lunch, we'll enjoy a meal at The Stable Café, located on the estate. Afterward, we'll visit the Biltmore Winery for a chance to purchase some holiday wine and browse the estate's charming shops. We'll then head to Pigeon Forge, TN, where we'll check into the Inn at Christmas Place for a two-night stay. Nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, this four-star hotel offers picturesque Bavarian architecture and is directly across from the namesake Incredible Christmas Place. Here, we can truly experience "Old World charm, elegance, and hospitality," making it the perfect place to "Sleep in Heavenly Peace."

Day 3

MONDAY NOVEMBER 16, 2026
Today, we will spend the day at Dollywood, a beautifully landscaped theme park that brings to life the homespun fun and traditions of the Smoky Mountains at Christmas time. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, featuring gorgeous Christmas decorations, a variety of holiday shows, and everything from Southern gospel music to seasonal performances. Take your time exploring the park, and don't miss the dazzling holiday lights that make Dollywood truly magical during this time of year. An included $25.00 lunch voucher will be available for use at one of the park's dining spots. After our fun-filled day at Dollywood, we'll head over to the Dolly Parton Stampede for an unforgettable fabulous show that promises to entertain with music, dancing, and stunning special effects.

Day 4

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2026
Today, we'll have some time to explore the shops in Gatlinburg, where you can pick up some unique gifts or souvenirs and enjoy lunch at your leisure. After shopping, we'll head to our next destination, the Margaritaville Island Hotel. Margaritaville Island Hotel brings the state of mind to Tennessee, offering high-end accommodation, inviting amenities, and island-inspired bars and restaurants. This relaxing retreat combines the laid-back, welcoming attitude of the islands with the warm, genuine hospitality of the Southern Appalachians. The result is an experience that makes you feel right at home while offering all the luxurious comforts you could wish for. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel, rounding out your day of relaxation and exploration.

Day 5

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 18, 2026
Regretfully, today we begin our journey home. We'll make a stop at Tamarack in West Virginia for lunch and for some time to explore their wonderful welcome center, filled with a variety of locally made items. After a relaxing stop, we continue our travels home, with an early evening arrival expected. What a fantastic trip it's been! We'll carry with us the memories of an unforgettable experience.
