Day 1
FRIDAY, APRIL 10, 2026
Spring is a wonderful time to visit Washington, D.C., with the cherry trees in beautiful bloom. Experience the magic of the season on this memorable journey during the enchanting cherry blossom season. This afternoon, we will board a tram for a tour of Arlington National Cemetery, with the ability to hop on and off as you wish. In the evening, we will enjoy a guided moonlight tour of the monuments, including the Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, and World War II memorials, and we'll also see the White House and Capitol buildings beautifully illuminated at night-always a special treat.
Day 2
SATURDAY, APRIL 11, 2026
Following breakfast, you will enjoy grandstand seating for the Cherry Blossom Parade. The parade and festival celebrate the original gift of 3,000 cherry trees from the city of Tokyo, Japan, to the people of Washington, D.C., in 1912, and this year you will also receive a commemorative parade pin. This afternoon, you may choose to visit the Smithsonian Institution and its many world-class museums, or take a daylight tour of the monuments-and if you don't mind walking, you can even do both. In the evening, you'll have time to enjoy the charming historic area of Old Town Alexandria, a scenic waterfront district where you can purchase dinner or simply relax back at the hotel.
Day 3
SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 2026
After an included breakfast, we will board a boat for a relaxing Potomac River cruise. As you enjoy a delicious brunch buffet with bottomless champagne, mimosas, and sparkling cider, there will be plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and photos along the scenic river. After the cruise, it will be time to bid farewell to Washington, D.C., taking with us cherished memories of the city at a truly special time of year.
